Ever wanted to drive our trains? Ever wanted to come down and learn more about the behind the scenes of our railway, and how it all works? Want to sign up and get involved in a hands on community project? Well NOW is your chance! Saturday the 24th of March will be host to our first ever Membership Drive, from 10am - 1pm weather permitting.
You'll have the perfect opportunity to come down, have a drive and learn more about us, with volunteers around to explain each and every aspect of how we run. Our Club Locomotives 'DXR 8017' and 'The Bulldog Shunter' will be available for anyone to drive, along with 'DC 4532' and steam engine 'WAB 801' on Static Display.
Volunteers will be on-hand throughout the day to explain how our station works, the maintenance side of the hobby, Model Engineering and what can be made, and for anyone to have a drive of the engines. We've got all aspects of our club covered, so bring the whole family and discover what area you enjoy. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks, we look forward to seeing you there!
